Workplace Health Checks
Conexus Healthcare offer check ups in Wakefield workplaces to provide easier access to services.
Our Workplace Healthcheck project ran over the winter months of 2025 / 2026.
The aim was to bring the NHS Healthcheck to workplaces, targeting people who might otherwise not have the time or struggle to attend a GP Practice appointment.
The project was Funded by Wakefield Council through the Government’s Health and Growth Accelerator Programme. We worked with a number of Wakefield based employers to deliver onsite appointments, setting up a whole new booking system for employees. We also used the networks of We are Wakefield and attended the 2026 Wakefield Expo to offer healthchecks to delegates.
We anticipated that offering health checks in the workplace would encourage greater participation, as employees would be more likely to book an appointment if they saw their colleagues doing the same.
