Session Rates and Shifts

Medical Receptionist

Role

  • Process incoming calls and navigate patients to the appropriate clinician or service
  • Process referrals from local practices, NHS 111 and other partner organisations
  • Check rooms are secure and tidy when service closes
  • Follow site procedures including the relevant opening up or locking up procedures
  • Act as a chaperone for clinicians

Experience

/ Qualifications Required

  • Active experience of working in General Practices
  • General practice reception experience
  • SystmOne experience

Pay Rate

£16.03 per hr

Shifts

Various shifts available including evenings and weekends

 

Health Care Assistant

Role

To deliver the following routine care in the enhanced access service:

  • Chaperone duties
  • NHS Health Checks
  • Phlebotomy
  • ECGs
  • B12 injections
  • Blood Pressure Checks
  • Long Term Condition Review Observations Spirometry (coming soon)

Experience

/ Qualifications Required

  • Two years’ experience of working in primary care as a Health Care Assistant
  • Currently working clinically in a healthcare setting
  • Use of SystmOne
  • Certified for the Healthcare Assistant role through a qualification such as, Health and Social Care City & Guilds, Council for Awards in Care, Health and Education, Open University, apprenticeship.

Pay Rate

£18.82 per hr

Shifts

Various shifts available including evenings and weekends

Practice Nurse

Role

To deliver the following routine care in the enhanced access service:

  • Phlebotomy
  • B12 injections
  • Contraception reviews (excluding IUD and implant)
  • Depo Provera Injections
  • ECGs
  • Wound care

Specialist Clinics

  • Long term condition management (such as Asthma, Diabetes, Hypertension, COPD)
  • Spirometry
  • Cytology & Swabs – high vaginal and endo-cervical
  • Pessary fitting

Experience

/ Qualifications Required

  • Minimum one years’ experience of working in primary care as a Practice Nurse.
  • Use of SystmOne
  • Competent in all areas of the non-specialist clinics + at least one specialist clinic

Pay Rate

£18.82 per hr

Shifts

Various shifts available including evenings and weekends

Advanced Nurse/Clinical Practitioner

Role

  • Speak to patients who have been determined as needing a same day appointment
  • Four patients per hour GPs & ACPs to see patients F-2-F to manage problems that are acute or routine
  • Investigations and referrals will be available to clinicians who will have 15-min slots
  • Support to the Clinical Advisors

Experience

/ Qualifications Required

  • Experience working in general practice as an advanced clinical practitioner
  • Use of SystmOne
  • Experience of using autonomous physical examination and assessment skills in practice
  • Experience of telephone triage.
  • Can demonstrate a broad and sound knowledge of complex and common conditions in primary care in both adults and children.

Pay Rate

£61.50 per hr for self-employed

£48.25 per hr for salaried

Shifts

Various shifts including evening and weekends

General Practitioner

Role

  • Speak to patients who have been determined as needing a same day appointment
  • Four patients per hour GPs & ACPs to see patients F-2-F to manage problems that are acute or routine
  • Investigations and referrals will be available to clinicians who will have 15-min slots
  • Support to the Clinical Advisors

Experience

/ Qualifications Required

  • Use of SystmOne
  • GMC registered as a General Practitioner
  • Listed on the Performers Register

Pay Rate

£61.50 per hr for self-employed

£48.25 per hr for salaried

Shifts

Various shifts available including evenings and weekends

Phlebotomist

Role

To deliver the following routine care in the enhanced access service:

  • Chaperone duties
  • Phlebotomy
  • Blood Pressure Checks

Experience

/ Qualifications Required

  • Six months experience of working in primary care performing phlebotomy and blood pressure checks
  • Currently working clinically in a healthcare setting
  • Use of SystmOne
  • Evidence of phlebotomy competency

Pay Rate

£17.79 per hr
